How we research
Every ranking on this site is research-based. Here is exactly what that means, so you can judge the work rather than take it on faith.
What we do
- Read the vendor's own documentation, feature pages and pricing pages, which are the source of truth for what a tool is, what it does and what it costs.
- Verify every price and trial against the vendor's pricing page, and record the date we checked it. Prices go stale silently, so each one carries an "as of" date.
- Read what long-term users report in public: Reddit threads, G2, Capterra and Trustpilot. This is where reliability, support and lock-in show up, which a feature list never admits to.
- Weigh those against the vendor's claims. When users and the vendor disagree on a fact, the vendor's own current page wins for facts; the users win for experience.
What we do not do
We do not run these platforms on live campaigns, and we do not pretend to. We do not publish first-hand performance numbers we did not measure, invented case studies, or star ratings dressed up as data. If a claim is not something we read and can point you to, it does not go on the page.
How we rank
The ranking is ordinal, not scored. There is no 1-to-10 rubric to defend cell by cell; instead each tool gets a single, non-overlapping reason it is worth your time. For a paid-traffic seller, the order reflects five things, roughly in this weight: checkout conversion features (order bumps, one-click upsells), split testing that respects the ad platform, payment flexibility and routing, total cost at real volume, and how much independent evidence backs the vendor's claims.
How often we revisit
We re-check the money pages every 90 days, and sooner when a vendor changes pricing or ships a feature that moves the ranking. Each page carries a changelog so you can see what changed and when.
